ZedOsteotomy

Overview

ZedOsteotomy supports planning RAO (Rotational Acetabular Osteotomy), HTO (High Tibial Osteotomy) and DFO (Distal Femoral Ostaotomy) in 3D using CT images.

In hip osteotomy simulation, repositioning simulation and ROM (Range Of Motion) simulation visualize the post-operative positional relationship between pelvis and femur in 3D. In knee osteotomy simulation, the change in alignment can be calculated by the open/close wedge simulation.

Features

Database of Patient Records

User can import CT data in DICOM format into a database application.
Patient information (such as name, sex, date of birth, etc.) can be managed uniformly.

Furthermore, this database application can be used as simple DICOM viewer to view the images in axial, sagittal and coronal views.

Bone Cut Simulation

User can separate 3D bone model into parts by specifying bone cut path, and simulate rotation and translation of the separated parts. For hip, ROM simulation can detect impingement between bones.

For HTO and DFO simulation, 3D bone-graft can be exported in STL format for open wedge after bone cut simulation.

Calculation of Parameters

ZedOsteotomy can calculate parameters such as:
– CE angle, left-right leg length difference, FTA (Femoral-Tibial Angle), etc. for hip simulation
– post-operative alignment parameters including mechanical axis, etc. for knee simulation.

ROM Simulation (for Hip Simulation)

User can simulate ROM after repositioning pelvis and femur.
The position of impingement between pelvis and femur can be checked in 3D, and a red mark is displayed at the point of impingement.

Femoral Head Coverage Ratio Calculation (for Hip Simulation)

ZedOsteotomy can calculate coverage ratio of femoral head after positioning cut acetabular.
Difference between pre-operative and post-operative ratio can be checked.
