ZedSpine

Overview

ZedSpine is for supporting planning posterior spine fusion utilizing CT images.

Even for patients with severe deformity, user can simulate size, insertion point and insertion angle of pedicle screw in each corpus vertebra in 3D by constructing the coordinate system for each corpus vertebra.

Features

Database of Patient Records

User can import CT data in DICOM format into a database application.
Patient information (such as name, sex, date of birth, etc.) can be managed uniformly.

Furthermore, this database application can be used as simple DICOM viewer to view the images in axial, sagittal and coronal views.

3D Bone Model Creation

ZedSpine creates 3D bone model using CT images in simple steps.
User can define range to create models.

Coordinate System Construction for Each Corpus Vertebra

By setting coronal, sagittal and axial planes, user can construct coordinate system for each corpus vertebra. This function assists correcting the tilt of vertebra for better planning.

Screw Insertion Simulation

User can simulate positioning pedicle screw in 3D, and obtain the values of insertion angle and size and length of the screw.

DRR (Digitally Reconstructed Radiograph) function enables to switch the MPR (Multi-Planar Reconstruction) view to x-ray view, and visualize screw position with perspective image.

2D and 3D Measurement

Not only measuring distance between 2 points or angle on 2D slice images, but also direct distance and angle on 3D bone model are available as 3D measurement function.
